Clara — last updated 18 July 2026
Clara is a magnifier app. It is built to work without collecting your personal data. This policy explains exactly what happens to information when you use the app.
Clara has no accounts, no sign-up and no login. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location, and we have no server that stores information about you.
Clara uses your device camera to magnify what you point it at. The camera image is processed entirely on your device, in real time, only while the app is open. Camera images are never uploaded, transmitted or stored by us.
If you tap Save, the image is written to your device's own photo library. It stays on your device under your control. We have no access to it.
Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see or receive your payment details. To manage subscription status and unlock features, we use RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and details of your purchase (such as which product was bought and whether the subscription is active). This is used only to give you access to the features you paid for.
See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.
Clara does not track you across apps or websites, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not show ads.
Clara is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.
Because we do not collect or store personal data about you, there is no personal data for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question about your data, contact us and we will help.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date above.
